HighTouch Launches Website for Museum of Mining and Industry

November 10, 2009

COLORADO SPRINGS, COHighTouch Marketing & Design, Inc. (“HighTouch”), a leading inbound marketing and web design firm for small businesses, launches www.wmmi.com, a web site for the Western Museum of Mining & Industry.  In 1970, the Museum of the West was incorporated as a private non-profit with a mission to preserve and interpret the rich mining history of Colorado and the American West. The nucleus of the collection was a group of mining artifacts contributed to the museum by Mr. Frederick McMenemy Farrar and Mrs. Katherine Thatcher Farrar.

What Closed The Deal

WMMI wanted an easy to use site that allowed them to make the updates themselves.  They wanted a way to track events and take reservations online.

HighTouch delivered a clean, easy to use site that provides a visually appealing site to all their patrons.  The CMS allows the Museum staff to make all the updates themselves.  It provides an easy place for the download of podcasts that are created frequently.  They are now able to track the attendance to events that require an RSVP.
